Minimum job size is 1,000 sq ft. Use the square footage from your listing or tax record — not wall measurements.
Typical Phoenix-area price for this size
$3,000 – $7,000*
Gomez Painting AZ price
$4,000 – $5,000
*Based on published 2026 Phoenix-metro painting cost data. Not a quote from any specific company.
This is a ballpark based on square footage alone. The real number depends on the condition of the surfaces, how much prep and repair is needed, and how much trim work is involved. Raymond will walk your house and give you an exact price — free, and with no obligation.
Wondering who's actually going to be at your house?
You get me on your job. Every day, start to finish.
No salesman, no rotating crew. You get your price instantly online, and when it's time to paint, I'm the one on the job — alongside the same small crew, every day. I'm also the one you call if something's not right.
- Raymond is on every job, start to finish
- The same people every day — family, not strangers
- I answer my own phone
Worried about a surprise bill at the end?
You get the price in writing before I open a can of paint.
Every job starts with a written contract — the full scope of work and a fixed price. We both sign it. Nothing starts until you've signed, and the number doesn't move unless you ask for more work.
- Written scope of work, itemized
- Fixed price, signed by both of us
- No work begins until you've signed
Will it survive the Arizona sun?
I use Dunn-Edwards — the same paint the big companies use.
Arizona is hard on a paint job. The UV fades cheap paint, the heat cracks it, and stucco moves. Dunn-Edwards is formulated for exactly this climate, and I'd rather do it once and have it hold than do it cheap and come back in three years.
- UV-resistant, made for desert exposure
- Formulated to move with stucco instead of cracking
- Proper prep and primer before a drop of color goes on
Nervous about paying up front?
On most jobs, you pay when it's done.
I don't ask for money before I've earned it. On bigger jobs I may ask 20% up front to cover materials — and if I do, it's written into the contract you sign, so there are no surprises either direction.
- Most jobs: pay on completion
- Larger jobs: 20% materials deposit, stated in writing
- Cash or check
What do the cheap guys actually skip?
The creases, the corners, and the nooks nobody thinks to look at.
That's where you can tell a rushed job from a real one. Anybody can roll a flat wall. It's the tight spots, the trim edges, and the places that take an extra ten minutes that separate a paint job that looks good today from one that still looks good in five years. Everything gets freshened up — not just the easy parts.

What if something goes wrong?
One-year warranty. In writing.
If workmanship issues come up within a year, I come back and fix them. It's written into your contract, not just something I say.
30 Years, One Pair of Hands
I got into painting because I loved it, and 30 years later that hasn't changed. The jobs I'm proudest of aren't the biggest ones — they're the ones where the homeowner walks outside at the end, looks at their house, and smiles. That's the whole job, really. I live and work out here in Buckeye, and most of my work is within an hour of home.
